MARY AND MICHAEL
Our Hopes in the Battle Against Satan

Mary as The Queen
The Christian people have always proclaimed Mary's exalted glory, sharing Christ's royalty. Like Him, it is hers by birth (as Mother of the King) and by right of conquest (as Co-redemptrix). Our Lord has placed in her hands the merits He gained by his death on the Cross, so that she might distribute them according to God's Will.
Mary has been given many titles. For example, she is the Queen of the Universe, Queen of All Saints, Queen of Martyrs, Our Lady of Sorrows, Queen of Peace, the Immaculate Conception, Mother of Good Counsel, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Our Lady of Fatima, and many, many more. There are scores of other titles that have been bequeathed upon the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Whatever title we use in our prayers to her is often determined by our culture, our experience, or our intention. So whether we honor her for her appearances on earth (e.g., Guadalupe, Fatima, etc.), thank her for consolation during a time of sorrow, or seek her intercession for the granting of God's grace, we always honor Mary (not worship) as our Queen.
