The certainty that MARY is the MOTHER OF GOD and MOTHER OF ALL MANKIND is what grounds our trust in her powerful intercession.
SAINT MICHAEL is the COMMANDER of the ARMY OF GOD. From the time of the apostles, he has been invoked and honored as the protector of the Church.
Today, there seems to be increased evil in our world. From individuals claiming the "right" to abort their unborn children, to drag queens publicly exposing themselves, to government officials asserting their devout Catholic faith while encouraging all sorts of immoral acts, the devil appears to be wielding a tremendous amount of influence. Some even think that we are entering the "End Times", approaching the final battle between good and evil.
If this is indeed the beginning of the end; and even if it isn't, our hopes lay in the protection offered by Our Blessed Mother and by St. Michael the Archangel. We know that St. Michael has already won the initial battle against Lucifer, casting the prideful liar out of the kingdom of heaven by the power of God. He can also cast Satan out of the kingdom of earth by the same power. Furthermore, in Genesis, after Eve's fall to temptation, God tells the devil that he will put enmity between him and the woman, and between her seed and his seed. It is Mary, the Blessed Virgin, the Mother of God, who brings into this world our Savior, Jesus Christ --- her seed who defeats the devil and grants all of us Redemption.
For years, I have acknowledged Mary's and Michael's help and assistance in obtaining God's grace. But mostly silently, in prayer. I have now decided to profess their greatness to the world. I started this Mary and Michael website with a mission to present my thoughts and experiences to the world wide web audience. With posts as often as I can research and write them, I hope to build this into a rich site filled with information about Our Blessed Mother, Saint Michael the Archangel, and yes, other Angels and Saints who are near and dear to my heart. I further hope that this information will instill faith and optimism for every person reading it and that you find peace in the arms of Our Blessed Mother and under the wings of Saint Michael.
