The Blessed Trinity

As a Christian in general, and a Catholic in particular, I believe that there are three Persons in the One True God: the FATHER (our Creator), the SON  (our King), and the HOLY SPIRIT (our Paraclete).

Our Father created the kingdom of heaven and earth; Jesus our King rules over the Father's kingdom of heaven and earth; and the Holy Spirit guides and preserves the kingdom of heaven and earth.

In the Lord's prayer, we ask the Father that "thy KINGDOM come." Jesus himself tells Pontius Pilate that he is a King, not  of this world; but a King nonetheless.

As a citizen and lifelong resident of the U. S. republic, it might seem odd that I believe that a kingdom governed by royalty is the ultimate form of society. But I do believe that the Kingdom of God is the very Utopia that so many individuals throughout history have tried to establish. The key to this belief is that the King is the embodiment of Perfect Love. Imagine a king who lays down his very own life for his subjects; that is what Jesus did.

God's kingdom is therefore the absolutely perfect society. He created it and His Son rules over it. But what is a kingdom without a royal court? This website pays tribute to that court: the Kingdom's Queen, Mary the Mother of God; and St. Michael, the Prince of  Jesus' church.

Moreover, as every king has had his army or knights who protected the royal court, so too does the King of heaven and earth have His army of angels and saints.
